BUSHES

This
bush is manufactured from high density material. The shore hardness
is less than that of seal material and therefore will wear more
readily than any metal parts that is running against, therefore
preserving the more expensive shafts. |

SEALS

Where liquids / chemicals
are present without the occurrence of temperatures exceeding
400 °C, and good sealing is required, double impregnated and
very dense carbon is used. In industries where gasses are being
extracted, seals made from high density material is used, commonly
being held together with a garter spring to ensure tightness. |

quantities. Vacuum vanes are also manufactured to any thickness
up to 300mm long. |
